What's the talk about?

With the fantastic Simon Singh visiting us on the 25th of November, it seems like the perfect opportunity to try something a little bit different in our regular Tuesday Plymouth SITP slot.
To that end, I would like to invite you all to come and debate the topic ‘Does my vote count?’

Some say that voting doesn’t make a difference because things are so broken that voting is now little more than collusion with a corrupt system.
On the other hand, do those who choose not to take part in the system have the right to complain when it fails? After all, how can you hope to change things if you are not willing to be part of them?
Can the system work or is revolution needed to turn things on their heads?

This is a new venture for PlymSITP and I hope you will all be interested in coming along and having a spirited debate about an issue that has been much debated over the last few weeks!
